TREC Broker-Lawyer Committee Dawn Moore offered the following statement of the amendment. In order to avoid a potentially serious error in the design of the contract, TREC authorized an amendment to paragraph 7D of the one- to four-family residence contract (resale). Paragraph 7D defines the agreement between the seller and the buyer on one of the main conditions of the contract: the acceptance of the condition of ownership. To bind the seller to the buyer, the buyer must make a binding offer with all the essential conditions to which the seller can give his agreement.. . . .
